MDU Date Sheet 2021: MDU (Maharshi Dayanand University) is going to held its exams tentatively in the month of September. After HRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal announced that the schools and colleges will be allowed to open in the second half of August, Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar has also quoted confirming the same and made a big announcement on June 10 in a press release.
“The students in their final years/semesters of college will have to appear in the exam in July while others (first year/first semester students) will be promoted to the next classes on the basis of average marks obtained in their last semester,” the chief minister said.
Hence, final year students can expect MDU examinations to be held in the month of September. The new exam dates for all the Regular, Private/Non-attending, and Reappearing students will be available at the end of August on the MDU official website i.e. mdu.ac.in.
Although it has been cleared by the chief minister himself, first-year/semester students are still puzzled as their colleges/institutions have not yet broken the ice about how they are going to comply with the chief minister’s order and on what basis students are going to be promoted.
In a conversation with some students of KIIT College Of Education, it was found that teachers have already completed the entire syllabus via video classes/conferencing plus some online evaluation tests and mock viva voces have also been taken during the lockdown period before the summer break, which has started on June 1, so that in case of any uncertainty students could prepare themselves.
First-Year students will have to wait until the college’s resume, the whole picture would be clear before the summer break end, and the date sheet is also expected to be released by then.
